Our Story

Built on craftsmanship, driven by passion

Johnson Upholstery has been a Montgomery cornerstone since day one. What started as a one-person operation in a small workshop has grown into the region's most trusted upholstery studio—but our philosophy hasn't changed. Every piece that walks through our doors deserves the same care and attention we'd give our own homes.

We combine time-honored techniques with modern materials and methods. When you bring us a piece, you're not just getting fabric stapled to a frame. You're getting a thorough assessment, honest recommendations, and craftsmanship that will outlast the next generation.

Quality First We never cut corners on materials or labor.

On Time, Every Time Realistic timelines with clear communication.

Honest Pricing Transparent quotes—no surprises or hidden fees.

Client Stories

Trusted by Montgomery homeowners and businesses

"They restored my grandmother's settee and I could barely tell it was the same piece—except now it looks even better than I remember. The attention to detail was incredible, from the frame repair to the fabric selection."

Michelle R. Montgomery, AL

"We contracted Johnson Upholstery for our entire restaurant—42 booths and 80 chairs. They delivered on time, on budget, and the quality has held up beautifully after two years of daily use."

David T. Restaurant Owner, Montgomery

"I brought in my 1967 Mustang's interior and they made it look factory fresh. The custom stitching on the seats and the new headliner were flawless. These guys really know their craft."
